Unveiling and dedication of a memorial bench in the memory of Pete and Buff. Location – Rope Walk, Ross-on-Wye.

Unveiling of an official Blue Plaque to commemorate Mott the Hoople at the Hope & Anchor pub, Ross-on-Wye.

 Everyone is welcome to attend these two events.

Several other events are planned over the Friday and Saturday, but we are keeping them a surprise!! The above programme is subject to change.

 After some extremely dedicated research, we intend to publish a pub trail shortly, which will include many points of interest related to Mott the Hoople.

Tourist information and attraction leaflets can be found in the Town Council's leaflet stands on the 1st floor of the Market House, open from 10am to 4pm every day. The Market House hosts weekly markets on a Thursday and Saturday, while the 1st floor hosts a local art collective.

This group is for anyone coming along to MOTTFEST 2025 who needs to hook up for car share, cab share, pick up and drops off to the station, travel together on trains, offer lifts.

A big thanks to everyone who contributed to You Are One of Us ... our unique and emotional tribute to Mott the Hoople. It's been great fun compiling, editing, designing and publishing words, images and magic memories of fans from across the globe. A MottFest limited-edition glossy-art paper version is available for pre-order direct from Hit the North. Fans attending MottFest (3-5 October) can pre-order and collect from us at the Ross-on-Wye event in October without paying any shipping costs. The deadline for MottFest pre-orders is 5 September 2025. Make sure you pre-order to avoid missing out on this limited-edition.
